Perfect Serve

These are our suggestions, be sure to let us know if you find other winning combinations!

The tonic and the garnish that you choose can really influence how the botanical elements shine through with G1. Our botanicals have good citrus, floral and spice elements, all of which can be brought to the fore with a well-chosen garnish!

On the rocks - works with a twist of grapefruit peel

G&T - Fevertree Naturally light or Indian Tonic are our first choice.

Garnish - Pick what suits you. Here are some suggestions, straight from the Withers Gin Shed:

If you favour citrus...
Grapefruit zest - I like a really thin squiggle! Grapefruit zest and a sprig of fresh rosemary works brilliantly too.

If you favour floral...
The Heartsease flower – if it’s in it, why not put it on it! It looks magnificent, and really brings out the floral notes. If like me, you struggle to keep anything with leaves alive, you can also freeze the flowers within ice cubes too.

Top Tip: If you boil the water first you get clear ice cubes!

If you favour spice...
A few green cardamom pods work a treat.

If you favour Juniper berries...
I love juniper and we were pretty liberal in our use of juniper berries in our recipe. A handful of juniper berries is an easy garnish, and the more the ‘berrier’!

How to do a ‘Sipping Gin’...
Mix 2 parts G1 with 1 part Creme De Mure (Blackberry Liqueur). It’s great for outdoorsy activities in a hip flask, or with a good glug of Prosecco in a champagne flute for an ‘easy, heartseasey’ cocktail.

However you choose to drink G1, please do so responsibly, and we hope you enjoy it!

Cheers!
